Great Texture Plug-in

January 8, 2005

I recently discovered really cool Map | Zone plug-in filter for creating seamless textures. Based on their promotion, it is targeted at users doing 3D rendering. The good news is that it is also useful for those of us who do image editing. I can already see several ways that I’ll incorporate it into projects.

Of course you’re asking how much this wonderful plug-in costs. Good news, it is free. Visit the Allegorithmic Web site to get all the details on the plug-in and to download it. The requirements claim that you’ll need Adobe Photoshop but I have tested it in Corel PHOTO-PAINT 12 and it works just fine. Hey, at this price, you just can’t beat it!
