ROMCat Updated with Great New Features

How many of you use ROMCat to search your clipart? This great little utility has been around for over ten years and has helped millions of users find the images they need. The author has had some great ideas for new features and just never found the time to get them included…until now.

Many of us like to put all of Corel’s clipart on our hard drives. This wasn’t a problem until Corel removed the keywords starting in v11. Sure, you could edit the ROMCat catalog, but that was a real pain. Now you can simply tell ROMCat the base directory and it will adjust to any location.

When you used to do a search, you’d get a list of the files that matched. When you clicked, a thumbnail would appear. Now the search results are thumbnails and even more info is available for each file.
