Spiral Graphics Programs Updated for Vista

December 18, 2006

I’ve talked a few times in the blog about Spiral Graphics cool utilities Wood Workshop, Genetica and the Genetica Viewer. If you need tile able bitmap fills, these utilities can do amazing things.

When I first got Microsoft’s Windows Vista running, it was very disappointing when I was unable to get these utilities installed. Given that Vista is just now becoming available, not all software has been updated to work with it. I dropped the folks at Spiral Graphics an e-mail and asked about it. It was a pleasant surprise to get a message back quickly that new installers had been released that would work with Vista. I quickly downloaded them and was thrilled to get them installed.

They all work great and now I can get back to creating some cool fills.
