Macro Monday: Image Watermark

August 4, 2008

With the era of digital pictures upon us, there are pictures everywhere. Many users mistakenly think that if they can download an image that they have the rights to do whatever they want with it. This means that someone could be using your images without your permission.

That’s where today’s macro comes into play. The Image Watermark macro for Corel PHOTO-PAINT can automatically put a watermarked image onto a photograph. Even better, you can use it with the Batch Process function to add the image watermark to hundreds of photos. There are versions of the macro available for Corel PHOTO-PAINT 11, 12, X3 and X4.

Using this macro won’t protect your images completely, but it might make someone think twice before they just download and start using your images.
