I still remember the first computer I got with a hard drive. It held a massive 20 MB of information. That easily held all of my applications and data. Now I have hundreds, if not thousands, of files larger than that hard drive. Seagate recently release the 1.5 TB Barracuda drive. That’s right, one drive holding 1.5 terabytes of data. Actually a bit less than that after it is formatted. Even better, it is a pretty darned fast drive. Even those working with massive files will find it hard to fill up a drive like this quickly. For maximum speed and capacity you could even connect several of them in a RAID configuration without breaking the bank since the drive sells for only $127 at Amazon. After describing all of these cool computer parts in the blog, I have an itch to build myself a new computer!
