Each Friday, I try to tell you a little story about why I chose the font featured. Maybe it is the heat here in the desert, but I just don’t have a good story today. I know it is 110 degrees, but it is a dry heat. Unfortunately that doesn’t stop it from melting my brain every now and then.
Maybe it was the brain melting that led me to Jigga Jagga. It is categorized as a funky font and I’d also say it is very geometric with only straight lines.
Nearly every day I get an e-mail from a loyal reader thanking me for the information I supply. I’d like to ask a favor of you and it won’t cost you anything more than a few seconds of your time. In short, I want to increase the number of daily readers. If you already receive this via e-mail, would you mind forwarding this message to people you think might enjoy reading it? For those reading it on the Web, could you e-mail the URL to others who might enjoy it? At right is a big graphics saying “click to subscribe”. Those of you reading this who don’t subscribe, please click the button. Nothing bad is going to happen, it will just allow you to receive the posts via e-mail. You’ll be asked to enter your e-mail address and nothing more. The only e-mail you’ll get is a single e-mail on each day there is a new post with the posts from the past 24 hours. Yes, you’ll also receive one e-mail immediately asking you to click a link to confirm your subscription. It doesn’t cost a thing, you can unsubscribe at any time (links are in every e-mail) and you can easily delete the e-mail if you don’t find a particular post interesting. I think you’ll find the free information to be a pretty good deal. I’d like to double the number of e-mail subscribers by the end of August. I’m going to make note of the subscribers we have right now and I’ll give a short update from time to time on our progress towards doubling the number. So please help me spread the word. If you want even more valuable CorelDRAW information, also subscribe to Jeff Harrison’s Daily Diversion. Just like this blog, there is no cost and you’ll receive no more than one e-mail on a given day. Thanks so much for your help!
