Alexander Penkin’s Symmetrical

August 2, 2010

One area of CorelDRAW has always fascinated me. That is the ease with which really cool geometrical patterns could be created. Yet creating patterns with symmetry can be difficult since only a couple of the tools in CorelDRAW allow you to draw with symmetry. That’s where today’s macro, Alexander Penkin’s Symmetrical, comes into play. Not only does it allow you to draw with symmetry, you can choose from a number of types. Let’s look at some of the things you can create with it.

Those are pretty cool. In all, there are 16 different symmetry types available and objects can be easily cloned and resized at the same time. Check out some examples of how things work below.

If you like to create patterns, you’ll definitely want to check out this macro!
