I had a former Boot Camper call me the other day wondering where she could find the Thumbnailer script that she had in her CorelDRAW 10 installation. While it may have been possible to edit the old script, she would be better served by getting the updated macro.
Oberon Thumbnailer moved the task from CorelSCRIPT into a VBA macro. The nice part of having a macro is that it can be easily customized onto a menu or a toolbar button. What does the macro do? It takes a series of files you’ve selected and creates a page (or pages) of thumbnails from those files. In short, it is a way of making your own clip art book. It can also downsample bitmaps so your file doesn’t grow to an unmanageable size. Definitely a handy macro for anyone who works with a large number of files.
