Epson PP-100 Disc Producer

February 23, 2011

There is one piece of computer equipment in our office that is constantly being used. After nearly 2.5 years, it still works flawlessly. The only thing we’ve ever had to do to keep it running is replenish the supplies. It is the Epson PP-100 Disc Producer and it is used to duplicate CDs and DVDs.

At first glance, some users might not think they have a use for such a device while others can immediately think of uses for it. If you need to manufacture discs, you’ll love it. It burns the discs and prints the front face of the disc. All of it is completed automated in batches of up to 100 discs.

Even if you don’t have a need to duplicate and prints discs for yourself, maybe it is something you can offer to your clients as a service. I don’t actively advertise the service and still have jobs come in on a regular basis. Some companies just want discs imprinted with their logo. Others want data put on the discs when printed. For each batch of 100 discs, there is less than five minutes of time involved. And if you offer to design the labels for the clients, you can make some extra money for your design skills.

So some of you will want it to duplicate discs for yourself to make money while others will want to offer the service to others to make money. The key is that it can be used to turn a profit either way!
