Whew, it was just a few hours ago that 2012 got started. I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit tired. Good thing it is a holiday and I can relax a bit after I finish writing this post. Last year (I mean yesterday) I told you about the Design Base Automation Plug-in for CorelDRAW X3-X5. I told you that it was completely free because the developer is hoping you’ll want to purchase artwork to use with Design Base. Today I want to tell you a bit more about Design Base Art Pack 1.
Included on the DVD are a number of types of art to use with Design Base. First are what are called Art Packs. There are 27 of them. Now that may not sound like a lot, but each of these contains a whole collection of art in a given theme. For example, one of them has crosses and fleur de lis. That one contains 19 distinct pieces of artwork. So while the number may sound low, there is a lot more than it sounds.
Next up is the clip art. The Web site says “more than 1700” which actually translates to 1798 pieces of art and this doesn’t count the art packs mentioned previously. After that are comps. These are photo-realistic images of garments upon which you can put your designs to show clients a preview of the final piece. In total there are 58 of them. Looking for effects? There are 40 pre-made envelope shapes and 55 preset outline effects. And to put all the art together, you get 311 interactive templates.
Of course you need to promote your designs. In addition to the comps mentioned earlier, there are an additional 46 model comps. These are garments photographed on a model. Design Base puts your artwork onto these comps so you have a photo of the design without hiring a photographer or a model.
Overall there is more than 1 GB of artwork on the DVD and we pay for the shipping. So your total cost for all of this artwork is $199.99! Get yours today and get started on some killer designs!
