One of the downsides of a new year is that those of us in the United States have to start thinking about preparing our taxes again. This year we get an extra day and they will be due on April 16 since the 15th falls on a weekend. Trying to fill out all those forms is incredibly complex and I can only hope the politicians can find a way to simplify things sooner rather than later. I’ll shut up and leave the politics for another blog.
For now, we just need to find the easiest way to complete our taxes while following the rules to pay the least amount possible. Personally I’ve been using Turbotax and its predecessors for more than 20 years. It does make the process a lot less painful. Below are links to the various versions so you can pick up a copy.
