Revo Uninstaller

March 3, 2012

If at all possible, you should use the official Uninstall feature to remove software from your computer. Unfortunately there are times when the uninstaller doesn’t complete remove the software or an uninstall feature isn’t included. In those situations, you’ll want to investigate a program like Revo Uninstaller.

Revo Uninstaller comes in two flavors. You’ll certainly want to give the free version a try to determine if it is useful to you. You’ll also want to investigate the Professional version as it adds a number of extra features not found in the free version. There is a free 30-day trial of the Professional version if you want to give it a try before buying.

While these tools can be quite useful, use them with caution. As mentioned earlier, you should always try the official uninstaller first. Save the big guns for situations where the regular uninstaller doesn’t work.
