It just wouldn’t be a Friday without a dreaded technical glitch. That certainly isn’t the way I wanted to go into a holiday weekend, but I’ll try to make the best of it. Due to the glitch, I am unable to provide a new font to you today so I am going to dig back into the archives and remind you about some of my favorite fonts.
We’ll start with two font families in OpenType format, complete with some extra glyphs. The Lobster Fonts have some really cool extra glyphs in them and I’ve yet them quite a bit. A more traditional family of serif fonts is the Crimson fonts. They too are in OpenType format and have some of the cool extra glyphs.
For those looking for a big family of fonts, the Kubrick fonts may be right up your alley. In total it contains 11 faces. Another larger family is the Ensign Flandry fonts and I was particular happy about the story I shared about these fonts. To finish off my stroll through the archives, check out the Sinister Visions fonts containing four fonts perfect for Halloween.
With the fonts covered, you should have a nice mix of body fonts, headline fonts and some others that are just plain fun. Enjoy!
