No matter what software you are using for a given project, you want to get the absolute most out of it. Today I wanted to provide you with five tips for getting more from CorelDRAW. Of course you can get hundreds of tips in one place with my CorelDRAW X5 Unleashed and CorelDRAW X6 Unleashed Training DVDs. If you don’t already have a copy, now is the time to get one and start learning.
Now let’s look at the five tips. I will give you a brief description of each along with a link to a more detailed answer. I purposely chose a range of tips from something basic that every user can implement to really powerful tips that take you to a new level.
Scaling Outlines With Image tells you about the setting that allows the thickness of an outline to scale at the same percentage as the object to which it is applied. Every user needs to understand this setting and when to use it.

Large Dimension PDF Files Are Fine, Adobe Is The Problem! Rare is the user who doesn’t create PDF files. If you create one with dimensions greater than 200 inches, you may get told that CorelDRAW created a bogus PDF. CorelDRAW is not the problem, it is the Adobe product that is unable to handle the large dimensions.
MysticThumbs Provides Thumbnails For Many Graphic Formats and that means you get a huge new feature in Windows Explorer and in Corel CONNECT. This cool Windows utility allows you to see thumbnails for a huge list of file formats including important ones like EPS, PDF and much more.
