I’m excited about a new book that just started shipping. I’d love to tell you that I’ve read it, but I have to wait for my copy to arrive. Sure, I’m a blogger so it is a very relevant book for me. Maybe you aren’t a blogger and don’t see a reason to blog. I’m guessing you’d still get some good information from the book and you may even decide a blog is a good choice for you.
Why am I so excited if I haven’t even read the book? Let’s first look at the two authors.
I have read both of Mark Schaefer’s previous books from cover to cover and found them both very useful. Want to learn more about them? Read my previous posts Use The Tao of Twitter to Fully Grasp the Power of Tweeting and Return on Influence: The Revolutionary Power of Klout, Social Scoring, and Influence Marketing for details on those two books. I am also a subscriber to his blog.
This is Stanford Smith’s first book, but I’m very familiar with his writing as I have been reading his blog Pushing Social and really get a lot of good information from it.
There is no doubt that these two have put their minds and talents together to create a book loaded with valuable information. While I’m sure some of what they cover will already be old news to me, it only takes a few really good nuggets of new information to make it worthwhile. I can’t wait for my copy of Born to Blog to arrive so I can get started on it!
