Quite often users will import files directly from a digital camera into CorelDRAW. If it is just one or two photos, the file size won’t be too painful. But if you bring in several of them, the file size can get massive in short order.
One answer is the resample each of the photos before importing them into CorelDRAW. If you don’t want to do that or already have them in CorelDRAW, now there is a macro that can resample them all for you automagically.
GDG Resampler works in CorelDRAW X4, X5 and X6 only. It has the ability to resample only bitmaps within your current selection, on the current page, on all pages and will even look inside of groups and PowerClips.
If you have a lot of bitmaps, it may take a while for the macro to do all this resampling because your computer processor will be really busy. Yet it is still a lot quicker than doing each bitmap manually!
