It is hard to believe the end of 2013 is just over a week away. This also represents a week where some businesses are very slow as they take time off for the holidays. Of course retailers tend to be extremely busy during this same time frame as people cash in their gift cards or exchange gifts they received.
I hope that many of you will be finding time to be with friends and family during the holiday season. I will certainly be taking some time away from a computer to enjoy those around me. Whether it is shopping, friends or family, you probably won’t be visiting the blog much during this season. With fewer readers, I’m going to take some time away from blogging to work on other projects. This will be the last blog of 2013 and the next post will come on January 6. After five and a half years of posting something new every day, I’m going to take two weeks away!
Just because you don’t see a new blog each day, I can guarantee you that I will still be writing blogs that will appear later. For those who want to read something, I encourage you to visit the blog archives as there are more than 2500 posts covering nearly nine years! Even the most loyal readers have probably missed a few posts over the years. There is something there for everyone to learn as well as the freebies that everyone enjoys downloading.
I will also set a goal for all of you to learn something new during this break. It doesn’t have to be computer-related as long as you are improving your own knowledge. For those who want to learn something computer-related, I’ll certainly suggest the blog archives for a number of suggestions. I’ll list a few posts that may help you.
