Most of us have more than a few different places on the Web with information about us. That can include a Web site, a blog, various social media networks along with networks to which we belong.

Today I wanted to tell you about a Web site where you can create a virtual business card with links to as many of these different sites as you want or as few for those who don’t want everything found.

The about.me site allows you to create a short bio of yourself with links to all of the sites where more information can be found. Not sure how it works, feel free to check out my about.me page (a thumbnail of it is shown at right). At the lower right of my page, you should see a small box offering you a page of your own.

First, creating such a bio is free! You can write whatever you like, upload a background and a profile picture and then connect to whatever sites you desire. That includes hyperlinks within the text of your bio. If you are looking for a place to set up your online bio, this is a great place to do it!
