NASCAR was in Phoenix this past weekend and the race is always a good place to people watch. While watching those people, there were a fair number of them wearing wireless headphones to listen to their favorite music or maybe even audiobooks from their smartphone or tablet. There were even kids playing games on a tablet without disturbing those around them because of their wireless headphones.
After observing all those people with bluetooth headphones, I went searching for a set that did a good job for a fair price. No, they won’t be as good as a set of Beats headphones and they also cost a lot less. Rokit Boost from Swage sells for under $50 at Amazon and connects to iPhones, iPads and a wide variety of Android devices.
I really like that these headphones include side function buttons for play, pause, forward, previous and volume. Not only can they be used for listening to music or playing games, you can also use them for talking on the phone as there is an integrated microphone. All in all, you get a lot of functionality for a fair price on these headphones plus they last up to eight hours on a single charge.
