The Beauty of Arizona Shared on Facebook

March 20, 2014

I’m sure many of you have gotten the opportunity to visit Arizona at some point. Others will never get the opportunity and can only experience it in pictures. Our biggest landmark is truly huge and that is the Grand Canyon. As you stand on the rim and look out on the giant hole in front of you, you will truly appreciate the massive size of it all.

Even flying over the Grand Canyon allows you to feel the size of it all. But what if you are flying thousands of miles above the earth? In that case, it doesn’t look so large. Check out the photo below that we posted on the Graphics Unleashed Facebook page as it was shot from space. If you are reading this via e-mail, you’ll need to read on the Web site to see the embedded posts.

The scale of the photo wasn’t provided, but I’m guessing the width of the photo covers approximately 100 miles. You’ll also notice snow on the mountains at the lower right of the photo. Yes, it does snow in Arizona! Keep in mind that this area is a much higher altitude than Phoenix. It has to be to allow for a hole more than a mile deep! Do us a favor and LIKE the photo. SHARE it with your friends or just leave a comment with your thoughts.

Another wonderful thing about Arizona are the amazing sunsets we get. Below is a sunset shot just outside the front door of our office. We receive a treat like this nearly every night.

Do you LIKE this sunset? Please SHARE it with your friends so they can enjoy it as well!
