Detailed Notes From CorelDRAW Seminars in Las Vegas Are Available

I had a lot of fun in Las Vegas teaching users a bunch of good information about CorelDRAW. It was exhausting to me to do all that teaching and I’m sure many of the users were exhausted from learning so much.

The first seminar I taught was offered free to all attendees and the huge ballroom was filled. I was so excited about the information that they had to stop me because I’d run over the allotted time. One of the comments I received from users is that they would have appreciated a detailed handout with everything I covered. It just wasn’t feasible as it would have taken at least 100 pages to cover it all and remember this was a free session. Those detailed notes are available as the information I was sharing came directly from my CorelDRAW Unleashed books. I know everything loves to get something for nothing, but producing this information is how I make a living. These books are worth far more than their cost. So if you want to take your CorelDRAW skills to another level, please consider picking up one of my books.

In another session, we spent three hours going over all the ins and outs of creating graphics for the Web in CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT as well as graphics and much more for various social media channels. Once again, I ran really long and the attendees were furiously writing notes. If you want detailed information on what was covered along with templates, artwork and more then you need to get the CorelDRAW Web & Social Media Success Kit.

While it would be nice if I had unlimited time to create content for you and I wish I was independently wealthy so I could give it all away. Unfortunately my time is limited and I rely on these products to make a living. Please keep this in mind if you think everything should be free.

A few days ago I was talking to a loyal reader who wanted to know …

  1. I am using CorelDraw X7. I know you are not doing an update or new book for that release but am wondering if I should try your X6 product anyway. I have been using CorelDraw since version 3 (not X3) but know there is still much I don’t know.

  2. A large percentage of the information in CorelDRAW X6 Unleashed, CorelDRAW X5 Unleashed Advanced Topics and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X5 Unleashed still applies to CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X7. In some cases a menu may have changed or some other slight difference, but it is typically pretty easy to figure out the difference if you know the programs well.

  3. I got this note, from Tony Severenuk at Corel. “To add to what Foster said, when you start X7 the first process will be to select a workspace. If you want it to be easier to follow along his material, select the Classic Workspace and then all menu items will be in the same location as listed in his material.”
