Loyal readers know that we’ve been making changes here at Unleashed. For many years, there was enough demand worldwide for CorelDRAW-related products that we were able to sustain our business. That demand has dropped off in recent years and we’ve been more focused on services we can provide.

When our focus was on CorelDRAW, the local market was not very important to us. In the fairly small town of Cave Creek there just aren’t many CorelDRAW users. Therefore our marketing efforts were focused first on North America and then in other parts of the world.

In the past year, much of our non-CorelDRAW efforts have been geared towards Web design. We have built dedicated sites for a number of our own products and services. Those new sites include the Graphics Unleashed blog, CorelDRAW Unleashed, Seamless Textures Unleashed, Vehicle Templates Unleashed and Web Design Solutions Unleashed. We’ve also build or overhauled sites for a number of clients.

We have some local clients for our online marketing services, but many of them are spread throughout the world. While we love helping any client, there are some things we are able to provide for local clients that is more difficult for faraway clients. Therefore we are going to being some marketing efforts to gain more clients in Cave Creek and surrounding areas.

As we tried to decide on the best approach, one option was to join the local Chamber of Commerce. It didn’t make sense in the past, but there are numerous local businesses we could help with a Web site or other online marketing. While I could provide my own business card for display at the Chamber office, I have jumped into CorelDRAW to design a business card focused on what we can provide clients on the Web. There will certainly be other promotional tools we’ll add to our arsenal.
