Claim Your Free Upgrade to Windows 10

Microsoft has started to notify users that they are eligible to get a free upgrade to Windows 10. If you look in the tray on your taskbar, you may see a small Windows logo as shown on the left of the screenshot below.

Click on that icon and follow the instructions on the dialog box that follows.

I am going to wait to “order” my free upgrade until the final version has been released just to make sure there won’t be any issues should I choose to install it. For those who are ready to upgrade as soon as possible, go ahead and get your copy ordered.
