You mount it outside your door and it can either be wired to your existing doorbell wires or it can run on a battery charge rated to last a year. Once mounted, you connect it to your WiFi network.

When someone rings the doorbell, you will be notified on your smartphone and you’ll see a live video feed of who is at your door. You can even converse with the person. In case the visitor doesn’t ring the doorbell, the Ring is also motion activated.

Not only does it work when you are home, it will also work if you are at work or far away from home. The bad guys will think you are always home and you can let good visitors know you aren’t home and when you can return.
