More content has been moved as part of the big unleash.com makeover. First up are the Cave Creek Geek videos. If you’ve missed any of the videos, get caught up now. It has been more than a year since I’ve posted a new video. Don’t worry, new videos will be coming once the makeover is complete and I have more time for filming and editing.
A couple of months ago we imported all of Jeff Harrison’s blog posts into the Graphics Unleashed Blog. Initially there wasn’t an easy way to navigate to posts by Jeff. We’ve now added a section listing all of his posts (a link is found under the Home icon in the menus). There also is work underway to categorize all of his posts so they’ll show up on the main menu.
We have offered a way for readers to subscribe to receive Jeff’s posts via e-mail when his posts were on a dedicated page. As his posts were merged into the Graphics Unleashed blog, that list would never send new e-mail. So anyone subscribed to that list was merged into the Graphics Unleashed list. Many subscribers were subscribed to both lists so this only affected a small number of subscribers. If you are one of those people and truly don’t want to receive the posts, you always have the option to unsubscribe.
Our friends at iolo have passed along a couple of special offers that we want to share with you. First is a special coupon code that entitles you to 70% off all of their primary titles through the end of 2015.
There is also a special offer on a bundle of System Mechanic 14.6 and Search and Recover.
There is a new version of System Mechanic coming. Don’t worry, if you purchase the older version now you’ll get a year of updates free. What’s coming in the new version? A streamlined, completely redesigned user interface and the following:
- Deploys a series of complex automated maintenance actions to keep your PC stable and clutter free.
- Digs deep into the operating system to tweak dozens of hidden internet, processor, memory, and hard drive settings for maximum PC speed.
- Adjusts its behavior to best leverage your specific version of windows—from XP through 10.
Last but not least, I have to give a huge shout out to my Kansas City Royals on winning the 2015 World Series last night!
