The folks who make ZoneAlarm know that I am an avid user and that I’m not afraid to tell others about it. They asked if I could write something about their latest releases. Obviously I’m happy to do it, but I wanted to know if they could provide something special for my loyal readers. We came to a happy conclusion with a limited time sale offering 55% off of their regular prices on the three products shown below.
I would guess that most all of you have some sort of anti-virus software on your computer already. And given the reluctance of many users to spend money on software, it is likely some sort of free solution. So if you are going to pay for a solution, why should you go with the ZoneAlarm solution? Look at the chart below to see how their anti-virus engine compares to other popular choices.
Some anti-virus and/or security suites can put a heavy load on your system. I’ve been using the ZoneAlarm Security Suite for more than a decade and I rarely know when it is doing its job. While I have no specific measurement to share, I can simply say that it doesn’t slow down my system to the point where I notice it. When done doing a scan, you’ll get a results dialog similar to the one shown in the screenshot below.
If you have been thinking about updating your security solution, now is a good time so you can take advantage of the special offer available from ZoneAlarm. I’ve used the current release on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 without issue or infections. Which product should you get? I suggest you get ZoneAlarm Extreme Security as it locks down the most on Windows (three computers) and also covers your Android devices.
Foster,
And I have been using ZA for 15 years. It has always worked quietly in the background never making any excessive demands on the system. It has always been possible to work on, even when a scan is in progress though a little sluggish sometimes.
