Zoom In Tight Using Your Smartphone Camera

Most of us carry a nice digital camera in our pocket in the form of the smartphone. Yes, most all of them offer some sort of zooming. But it is very limited since the lens barely sticks out of the phone. That has created a market for lenses that sit on top of the phone lens and give you the ability to zoom in tight.


Pictured above is one such lens that advertises a 12X zoom and works with most all popular Android and iPhone models. Best of all, it sells for less than $20 at Amazon. Is it as good as a massive zoom lens on a digital SLR? Of course not! But they’ve posted some example shots that look pretty impressive (see below).


I wouldn’t expect my shots to be that good, but even close to something that good is still spectacular for under $20. Definitely worth a try!
