It is a topic that comes up often with me. There is no such thing as enough power outlets or USB outlets. Even though I have several, some of the older ones don’t push as much juice through the USB ports as I’d like. Recently I was looking for an updated solution and selected the Belkin 3-Outlet Wall Mount Cradle with Dual 2.4 AMP Charging (shown below).

Let’s go over the features one-by-one. It fits into a standard double wall outlet. Unscrew the middle screw on the wall plate, plug in the new charger and screw in the screw in the middle of the device. It takes less than a minute or two to install it. If you really don’t want to screw it in, it is not required. That simply stabilizes it on the wall.

There are three AC outlets so it functions as a mini-surge suppressor for those outlets. Above the three AC outlets are two USB ports that push 2.4 amps each. This allows your devices (phones, tablets, etc) that support fast charging to get the quick charges you want. On top of the device is a lip that functions as a cradle for a phone or tablet. This allows you to plug it in and have it sitting there for easy access.

It is currently selling for $22 at Amazon and I can tell you that I already love the one I got!
