Facebook Gives Pages a Facelift

August 4, 2016

I had heard that Facebook was testing a new look for pages. Not for personal profiles, we’re talking about business pages. If you don’t already have one for your business, make sure to read Verify Your Facebook Page for info about creating and verifying a page. Below is an example of the new look of our page.

You’ll noticed we had designed our cover photo around the various areas where Facebook would overlay our profile photo, various buttons and info. Now the graphic looks a little strange with those holes. No problem, we’ll get a new version created in the near future to take advantage of the new look.

Below are before and after graphics for our Loreto Bay Home Rental page so you can see what’s changed.

For those of you who already have a Facebook page, time for you to update your graphics to work with the new format. The Cover Photo size has not changed, only the way the page is laid out.
