Many of us are dependent on our mobile devices, both phones and tablets. They are constantly getting more and more powerful. To understand the power it contains, you must first know the size of the battery in your phone or tablet. Many of the popular smartphones have batteries in the 2500-3000 mAh range. The AmazonBasics Portable Power Bank featured has 16,100 mAh so it can recharge those smartphones five or more times before it runs out of juice! There are other flavors that offer less power at a smaller size and price. But for the minor difference in price and something about the same size as many phones, I went for the most powerful.

You’ll first plug in the Power Bank via USB to fill its battery. Then there are two USB ports on it where you can charge two different devices via USB. There are four LED lights to indicate the level of charge in the Power Bank. It is a very simple device, but it can be a lifesaver if you know you won’t have an opportunity to charge your phone (or tablet) otherwise.
