There are some amazing drones available for shooting photos and video. Most of them come with a price that makes them a serious investment. I know I’d love to have one, but it is hard to actually order one because of the cost.
Today, I have a very reasonable priced option. I might even refer to it as a drone starter kit. Or you could call it a toy. But it flies, it shoots video and it is priced low enough to be an impulse buy. There are links below from which I earn a small commission from Amazon. Unfortunately I wasn’t given a drone to test.
The Syma X5C drone sells for less than $50 and it has a 2.0 megapixel camera for shooting video. It is not great quality, but hard to expect great video for such a low price. It will fly up to seven minutes on a charge and it takes 100 minutes to get a full charge. In short, this is a starter kit and/or a toy. But if you are thinking about getting a much more expensive drone, you may want to try this one first.
