Back in late 2013 I got the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet. It has served me well for more than three years now and I suspect I won’t be in the market for another tablet for at least a couple more years. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 TabletEven though I’m not currently in need myself, I like to know what is available in case I’m asked about it. Sadly Samsung hasn’t sent me a free one or compensated me in any way to write about this. But I am gonna share an Amazon link for which I receive a puny little commission if you use it to buy something.

Recently Samsung revamped their tablet line with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 inch tablet. Even though the screen is a hair smaller, the difference is negligible and the 1536 x 2048 pixel Super Amoled screen is every bit as good.

You’ll find the latest version of Android, v7.0 pre-installed. There are four stereo speakers tuned by AKG/Harman. 32 GB of memory is included and you can expand by as much as 256 GB via a microSD card. A USB 3.1 Type-C port connector is also used for charging. A full charge can be achieved in three hours and that will allow 12 hours of video playback.

For those looking for somewhat of a laptop replacement, Samsung has the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Keyboard Cover/Stand. Snap in the tablet and you can get to work. Yes, it is an extra expense but you can choose to add it whenever you desire.

If you are looking for a tablet that can work hard and deliver entertainment, you’ll definitely want to consider this one. I like that I can sync my tablet with my computer and my Android phone so that I have the data I need when I need it. Plus it stores my music library so I can enjoy some tunes while I work.
