Echo Show Adds Screen to Popular Amazon Device

May 10, 2017

I first saw Amazon’s Alexa device almost exactly two years ago. Now the family of devices uses the Echo name and there is a new member in the family. Thanks to the FTC, I have to tell you that I do earn a pitiful little commission if you order using the links I’ve provided. Sadly, Amazon hasn’t provided me with anything for free.

All of the functions available in the other Echo devices are also available in the Echo Show. The big new feature is a 7 inch screen and the ability to make voice and video calls.

It will still play music if you ask. Ask a question and it will answer. Have other home automation devices, it most likely will integrate with them. Let it help with weather, security cameras, to-do lists and shop.
