Make sure you have good anti-virus software and verify that it is updated. Most reliable vendors have already released updates that detect and block WannaCry. If you don’t have a good one, we’re fans of ZoneAlarm Extreme Security.

Backup your computer! C’mon, I know most of you rarely if ever backup. Make sure you also backup to something offsite so that your backup can’t get infected.
