Trying to figure out where to find settings to change in Windows can often be confusing. There is an easy way to have access to all settings in a single place. It’s called God Mode and you can quickly add it for free to Windows 7, 8 or 10. Use the steps below.
- Right click on your Windows desktop and choose New | Folder in the pop-up menu that appears. You’ll now have a folder labeled “New Folder” on your desktop. It doesn’t have any special powers yet.
- Change the name of this new folder to GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and press Enter. I suggest you use copy and paste to avoid any typos. If you want to change “GodMode” to something else, feel free as the text before the period can be whatever you want. How about using “Unleashed” since you learned it here?
- After you change the name, the folder icon will change to one that looks like Windows Control Panel (see the screenshot of mine at top right).
When you have the folder created, double-click on it and scroll through all the settings. There are a lot of them so it may take you some time to get through all of them. The good news is that you now know where you can find all of your settings.
Is there some kind of macro or a way to track time in CorelDRAW? I often lose track of time while working & don’t know how I should charge… any help??
I’m not sure why this is on a post about God mode in Windows. We use the Paymo app to track time. It was covered in a post at https://graphics-unleashed.com/2015/10/easily-track-your-billable-time-with-paymo-app/
