A few years back, I wanted to accomplish a couple of goals. First, I wanted to secure the domain name of my own name. Second, people were asking me for a way to purchase some of my photos. This led to the birth of the Foster’s Photos Web site.
Now that time has passed, it was time for the site to undergo some changes. I added more products I helped create to the Web site and the name including the word “Photos” just didn’t fit any more. Yes, the photos are still there. There are just more categories of products that aren’t photos.
For quite some time I bounced various name ideas around and had a list of about a dozen potential names. After some deliberation, the name Foster’s Favorites was chosen. This was more than just a name change though.
During this same time frame, a major update to my favorite WordPress theme was released. If I was going to change the name, I might as well use my own site as a proving grounds for some of the cool new features of Divi.
I don’t ever consider any Web site to be a finished product. So there will undoubtedly be more changes to the site as time progresses. But at this point, the biggest changes have been made for now. So I invite you all to visit Foster’s Favorites and check out what’s changed. Of course one thing that I’ve added is the service I provide to others in building an ecommerce Web site. If you want to sell products on the Web, I want to help you!
