Swannbuddy 4K, crypto heist, DNA on demand, free Office, COBOL, Alexa+, Oppo Find N5, Siri’s glow, EV charging, literary puzzle and James Bond. Twice recently I had to go through an identify verification that involved scanning my ID and taking a selfie. Yes, both were legit verifications. But the process was incredibly difficult even for someone who is generally good with technology. The preferred method was to do it on my mobile phone, but it failed when it said I had to provide permission to use the camera. Great, no problem except that I was never asked to provide permission. The second option was to use a Webcam and I have a really good one. It could never get a clear enough photo to process. It took me hours to finally get it to work. I can only imagine how much trouble this could be for someone who had no tech savvy. To me, it was a failed procedure even though it eventually worked for me.
