Graphics cards, scammers, Fire stick piracy, artificial blood, Firefox, animatronics, Samsung Galaxy S26, dashboard symbols and Pee-Wee Herman. It has been important to me to have my computer equipment plugged in to a UPS so that it doesn’t shut down unexpectedly when there is a brief power outage. The only challenge with this is that the batteries have a limited lifespan and mine is near the end. This meant it did have an unexpected shutdown. A replacement battery is on the way so I won’t have to worry about equipment damage. Below you’ll find the important stories from the last week in the tech industry.
