I really don’t know the inspiration of the font designer in choosing the Grantham name for this family of eight fonts. That means I get to come up with a story and maybe my guess will be correct. A little searching on Grantham led me to the market town of Grantham in England. It is the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher. So my story is that this family of fonts is a tribute to Margaret Thatcher and I’m sticking to it.
