When Who Framed Roger Rabbit debuted in 1988, it created an amazing blend of human actors interacting with “toons.” It also gave us all a look into the fictional “Toon Town” where all of the cartoon characters lived. Today’s font, Toon Town Industrial, shares a name with that fictional town and also features a font style that is often used with comics. In total there are nine weights so you have a wide range of styles to use when captioning the next comic masterpiece.
Post a message or a graphics on the Graphics Unleashed Facebook page and tell us your favorite cartoon character. As a young child, mine was Speed Racer. Can you suggest even one of your friends become fans of the Graphics Unleashed Facebook page. That way they can enjoy the fonts we feature.
If you’ve missed some fonts, don’t forget to visit Fonts Unleashed where we keep a list of the entire collection of the fonts available for download.
