Breaking with their tradition for the last decade and a half, Corel released CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2017 just a year after their previous release. I was going ti buy X8. So this is essentially X9? but they are calling it 2017?
I haven’t used it to know the internal version number, but my assumption is that internally it is “19” and they wanted to change numbering systems before XX. Just a hunch, but a beer company may have an issue with the name of XX if it were released. But since this release came after a year instead of two years, it feels more like X8.5.
In the intro webinar they said it was because they’re going to a yearly cycle vs the old two year cycle. The annual subscription is $198.00 US.
So basically, they’ve doubled the price since you are now paying every year instead of every other year.
It is regarded as 19. Here is the beginning of the serial number: DR19U
As for the subscription price, my accounts reads this: “You are subscribed to a multiple payment product. The next payment of $105.81 is due on 7/10/2017.” My account shows me as a Premium subscriber, so I think it is still $99/r plus tax.
