Grow Your Own Indoor Garden With AeroGarden

AeroGarden Harvest Elite

AeroGarden Harvest EliteThere are times when I’m not at my computer. I know, that may be hard to believe. One thing I’ve tried to do in the past few years is to grow a garden. Today, I’ll share an option that anyone can use to grow a garden indoors. Yes, it will have Amazon links from which I earn a puny commission. No, I didn’t get anything else for writing this.

While I’ve tried to grow a garden, my efforts have largely been a failure. The soil is right, the watering is right, the weather is right but my garden just doesn’t get enough direct sunshine. There is just no good solution for that. While I’ve gotten a few things to grow, far more have failed and the growth I’ve gotten is really slow. I’ve never been able to harvest anything from my garden.

One solution I’ve considered is the AeroGarden Harvest Elite as it allows you to grow a small garden indoors. No soil or sunlight is required. Just give it seeds, water and power on the LED light and you’ll soon have results. I have no doubt that it would give me the garden I’ve tried to hard to grow. My challenge is with the needs to purchase seed pods from AeroGarden and the limitation of how much could be grown in a fairly small container.

AeroGarden Bounty EliteOne solution to how much you can grow and/or the size of the plants is to go with the AeroGarden Bounty Elite. It allows plants as high as 24″ instead of the 12″ with the Harvest Elite. Plus you can grow more plants overall. Of course the ability to grow more comes with a higher cost.

There are also kits that allow you to grow whatever seeds you desire. The AeroGarden Grow Anything Seed Pod Kit is relatively inexpensive and opens up the possibilities greatly. For me this would be ideal because it would be easier to grow what I want without having to buy new preset seed kits.

For now, I’ve not invested in an AeroGarden. While I’d love to grow my own garden, I have access to plenty of organic vegetables at very reasonable costs. Getting herbs is a little more difficult. So at some point I may decide to get one, but right now I haven’t felt like it was an investment that was right for my needs.
