Give Your Laptop a Portable Desk to Use Anywhere

Give Your Laptop a Portable Desk to Use Anywhere
March 23, 2022

More and more people are working from home or at least working remotely. This combined with power of laptops continuing to increase has created a market for portable laptop desks. The needs of users can vary widely so I haven’t selected a single answer, but instead five different options. Hopefully one of these will meet your needs. Yes, I’ll provide links to purchase each from Amazon at the best available price. Using these links will earn me a tiny commission. Beyond that, I’ve received nothing to write this post.

Laptop Bed Desk Lap Tray

The first option we’ll explore is the Laptop Bed Desk Lap Tray. It has foldable legs and accommodates laptops up to 17.3 inches in size. The table is made of a non-slip wood surface and features a cupholder and a slot for a tablet. It can hold up to 77 pounds without collapsing and causing damage.

AboveTEK Portable Laptop Lap Desk

If you are looking for one of the smallest options then look no further than the AboveTEK Portable Laptop Lap Desk. It weighs only 2.2 pounds and is .6 inches thick. The non-skid surface fits laptops up to 15.6 inches and there is a slide out mouse pad.

NEARPOW Laptop Desk for Bed

Next up is the NEARPOW Laptop Desk for Bed designed for laptops up to 17 inches in size. It also has foldable legs with an adjustable height. You can also tilt the table towards you without having things slide off due to the bottom edge and laptop fix clips.

SAIJI Laptop Bed Tray Desk

Of all the desks I’ve listed, the SAIJI Laptop Bed Tray Desk has the most features and the highest cost. Note that while it has the highest cost, there is a big discount on it at the time of writing. It is large enough to fit all laptops with plenty of room for a mouse and more. At the upper left is a small drawer perfect for accessories. As with the others, the legs are foldable and the surface can be tilted.

BIRDROCK HOME - lap desk with light

I’ll finish with another option that features a pillow on the bottom that sits directly on your lap. The BIRDROCK HOME – lap desk with light has some other nice features such as a slide out mouse tray, a wrist rest, a phone and tablet slot and a built-in USB light. Note that it handles laptops up to 15 inches which is a bit smaller than some of the other options.

Those are the five options I found that should provide an answer for most users’ needs. There are certainly many more to explore if none of these meet your specific needs. Each of these provide a way for your to work remotely and comfortably!
