Keep Devices Powered With USAMS Multi Charging Cables

USAMS Multi Charging Cable
October 5, 2022

In the last month I’ve logged a lot of miles on the road and many nights in places other than home. During that time, it was important to keep all my devices charged and that meant having a source of power along with good charging cables. Today I’ll talk about some cables you should have as part of your tech gear. There will be Amazon links that earn me a small amount. Nothing else has been provided to me.

One thing I learned on my trip is that a particular multi-charging cable of mine is dead. It is hard to know the exact cause of its demise, though I have a feeling it overheated. Thankfully I have more cables. As part of attending WordCamp US, I also got a new multi-charging cable courtesy of one of the vendor’s swag. It isn’t as nice as the one that no longer works, but it fills the void admirably.

Today I’ll tell you about a good option should you need some multi-charging cables. The USAMS Multi Charging Cable has four different cables that can all be used simultaneously. They include USB-C, micro USB and two flavors of Apple’s Lightning. While you can charge four devices simultaneously, they will all be sharing power so charging will be slower. Each of the cables includes an indicator light (see below) to show when it is active.

Note that the Amazon listing includes two multi charging cables for the price listed. This makes it easy for you to keep one in the car and one in your travel bag. I find it useful to have even more for times when you need to charge several devices using the same type of connector. They are also handy when there is someone else who needs a charge and their devices use a different connector than yours. If not for yourself, these cables would make a great stocking stuffer gift!
