Earbud reviews, ATM jackpotting, genetic testing, Gemini 3.1 Pro, gaming chair, Samsung Galaxy S26 phones, Wayve and the FBI’s secret weapon. This week Samsung announced a number of new products and Apple will be announcing theirs in the near future. My current phone is now four generations old, so I’m at least looking at what the new phones bring. But my current phone also works just fine so I seriously doubt I’ll consider upgrading anytime soon. Where upgrades seemed important every couple of years in the past, now phones have reached the point where we can wait much longer. There is a lot more in this week’s news so make sure to read through all the stories below.
