Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, hacked WiFi, screwworms, Word 1.1a, OpenClaw, Dolby Vision 2, Google hardware, Jaguar rebrand and Viking household items. Sometimes when tech breaks it drives you a little crazy. A few days ago I found that none of my Alexa devices could connect to WiFi. They all said the password was incorrect. Of course the password hadn’t changed and plenty of other devices connected without issue. Soon after I discovered the issue, I was leading a Zoom meeting so I didn’t want to do anything with my Internet connection. After the meeting, I rebooted my router and all was well. Sometimes the simple solution of power cycling a device is all that you need. You’ll find all of this week’s tech news covered in the numerous stories included below.
