“Error 24” When Running CorelDRAW

June 2, 2010

Some users of CorelDRAW X4 reported a problem when attempting to launch CorelDRAW with the error message “Product Installation Unsuccessful Please Reinstall Error 24”. Gerard Metrailler of Corel Corporation has posted the official answer from Corel in his blog.

The short answer is that users with this problem are the victims of software piracy as their serial number is not a legitimate serial number. You can contact Corel using the link in Gerard’s post and they will assist you in resolving the problem.

While this is not a marketing ploy to get you to upgrade to CorelDRAW X5, maybe this is a good time to consider an upgrade. If you click this link, you can purchase a copy directly from Corel so there is no doubt it will be legitimate. Use the coupon code of UNLEASHEDSUN and you can save 10% off the purchase price. Note that this code probably only works for those in North America. You can also get free shipping using the coupon code COREL99. Yes, that’s also only for North America.
