Corel recently released the CorelDRAW.com app for the iPhone. The app makes it easier for iPhone users to interact with the CorelDRAW.com Web site. I don’t have an iPhone and I typically interact with the site via a mailreader so it isn’t something of interest to me. Now if they come out with an Android app, I’d give it a look!
What is probably more interesting to most users is a write-up showing how mock-ups of the app were created in CorelDRAW. Even more interesting is that a symbol library containing wireframes of iPhone apps and a CorelDRAW file with icon sizes is available for free download. If any of you are going to develop apps for the iPhone, you will want to get these files. Even if you aren’t, you might find them useful anyways. You can’t beat the price!
