I don’t know how often you refer to our CorelDRAW X5 Unleashed Multimedia Training, but I do it quite often. There is just no way I can remember everything included. As I was going over some thing yesterday, I was reminded of the important of converting outlines to objects. This is done by selecting Arrange | Convert Outline to Object or Ctrl + Shift + Q. The most obvious use is for those who have to cut or mark materials. An outline is only a single line around the edge of an object in those methods. But by converting the outline to an object, it can either create the double line or even a fill.
This can also be useful in situations where you want to “fill” an outline with something other than a solid color. Or maybe you want to apply an outline to the outline. Let your imagination and creativity run wild and I’m sure you’ll find a number of ways to make this part of your workflow.
