One of the coolest types of fills is a seamless bitmap tile. It allows you to use a realistic texture to fill any type of object you desire. Of course I am a little biased because of the more than 1000 seamless textures we offer in the Textures Unleashed collection. There are textures representing wood, metal, stone, terrain, fabrics, plants, bricks and much more.
The key is knowing how to use them in your graphics software. We’ve offered free tutorials for Using Seamless Textures in CorelDRAW and Using Seamless Textures in Corel PHOTO-PAINT for quite some time. We’ve just added a new tutorial for Using Seamless Textures in Adobe Illustrator. The technique to use them in Adobe Illustrator wasn’t obvious as there are a couple of special tricks involved. We made sure to cover all the steps, with illustrations, so you can get the most out of any seamless bitmap textures.
